Social Media Manager

Our client is a people-first agency. A team of talented people dedicated to WOW factor and results. They came together after sharing similar frustrations of marketing within the Construction Sector; with a lot of creativity and not a lot of strategy to support it, they wanted to cut right through that; and so they built a strategy first campaign agency for the trade sector. They have since gone on to look after some of the world's largest names in construction. They are an ambitious team with big goals ahead and want to ensure they bring the best people into the team to help continue their growth. They are looking to expand their team as they cement their position in the UK market and look to expand out into other territories.

Job Summary:

As a Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our clients continue to see growth on their social channels across the following areas:

• Followers
• Engagement
• Conversions from Social Media as a Channel (Sales, Leads, Website Engagement etc.)

It will be your job to stay on top of trending topics and sounds, helping to build a brand online presence and managing their digital community. This will include coming up with creative ideas for our range of clients and being reactive with content and ideas. We are looking for someone with a real passion and understanding of fast-paced social media with creativity and willing to push social content boundaries. This is a Management role, perfect for someone who is looking to grow their career and a team around them.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Creating Social Media Strategies for Our Clients across: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X
• Collating/Editing Content
• Briefing in Content Creation/Video Shoots for use across social media, but also accounting for how they can be used in other channels such as paid social.
• Writing & Scheduling Social Media Content
• Monthly Client Reporting & Commentary
• Analysing performance of creatives across multiple channels and recommending changes to future creatives / content edits accordingly.
• Influencer Strategy, Management & Reporting
• Working with the wider team at Tradectory to ensure the social strategies align with all services
• Community Management (Replying/Dealing w/Comments & Messages on Client Accounts.
• Attending client meetings and providing updates on performance and potential areas of improvement.
• Liaising with clients to keep them up to date on campaigns.
• Working on our own Tradectory Social Media Accounts: Instagram & TikTok - B2C Engagement LinkedIn - B2B Engagement
• Working on Recruitment as the team grows
• Providing Team Training as the team grows
• Planning, Running & Maintaining Team 1to1s with team members

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years experience in a similar role, agency side.
• A proven track record of successful social media management or marketing campaigns.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced agency environment and being flexible to accommodate rapidly changing workflows would also be beneficial.
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Hotjar etc.) would also be beneficial.
• Experience with Social Media tools (eg. Hootsuite, Buffer, Falcon, Agorapulse etc.)
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Social Media and Digital Marketing.
• An understanding of the construction industry would be beneficial however not required.
• An understanding of design tools like Photoshop, Premier Pro, Final Cut etc. to be able to make minor edits to creatives would also be beneficial, however not required.
• Experience Communicating with Clients
